Revised Merchant Account Limits

On 3rd December 2020, the Bank of Ghana published NOTICE NO. BG/GOV/SEC/202/15 on “New Merchant Account Categories” to enable Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to obtain access to merchant accounts, tailored to their needs. The tiered merchant account categories were aligned to the customer wallet limits then in force.
