Monetary Policy Committee Decision Submissions by Members
At the 126th Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meetings held from 15 to 17 September 2025, the Committee, by a majority decision, reduced the Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) by 350-basis points to 21.5 percent. Also, the Committee revised the single currency Net Open Position of banks from ± 5 percent to between 0 and –10 percent, effective 1 October 2025.
