Banking Sector Developments Report – September 2021
An assessment of the banking sector as at end-August 2021 indicated that the sector’s performance remained strong, underpinned by sustained growth in total assets, deposits, and investments. The expansion in the industry’s assets was on the back of increased liquidity flows from deposits and borrowings during the review period.
