It is a pleasure to join you at this West African sub-regional workshop being held under the auspices of AFRACA. Let me thank the organisers for the initiative and extend a warm welcome to all participants. As you may be aware, AFRACA is a wide network of institutions focused on the objective of promoting agriculture and rural finance in Africa.
